Ben & Beth were married at Dillmans Bay Resort in Lac du Flambeau, WI. A small town way out in eastern Wisconsin. Katie photographed this wedding with me and we had such a blast! We wish we had stayed at the casino hotel instead of the shady “The Shining” inspired hotel room above a dive bar we rented! Katie was so freaked out she didn’t sleep all night hahaha! I however can sleep pretty much anywhere so I got a few hours of sleep after the bar stopped playing their music at top volume.
I really enjoy when all of the festivities take place at one location. It allows us to really slow down and enjoy the day when we aren’t running around from location to location. There were eagles soaring overhead during the ceremony and the sun went behind the clouds to create a giant softbox for me and Katie.
The tent was gorgeous and their centerpieces were dazzling. The dance floor was full all night long which makes for fun photography 😀
