Jim and Renee had a simple and sweet wedding on the shores of Lake Superior. Madeline Island is such an enchanting island. We started the day by ferrying over to the island and then I captured everyone preparing for the big day. It was warm and dry but very windy. We didn’t let the wind stop us and we headed out for some formal shots.
Their ceremony was beautiful with light shining through the trees and the lake breeze blowing through our hair. Their entire reception was held outside and it was such a beautiful evening hanging out and watching the sunset.
I love Madeline Island and I hope to come back and capture more beautiful weddings here!
