Jeff & Ariane’s wedding looked like something out of The Father of the Bride. I said when I pulled up that all they were missing were the white swans and the foreign, funny wedding coordinator! The wedding took place at Ariane’s fathers house and it was so beautiful. What I liked the most was that the house wasn’t perfect, it was LIVED in. There was mail on the buffet table, there were blankets on the couch and dishes in the sink. There was love, laughter and life resinating through the entire house. Her dad rang his yak bell from Nepal and explained how he wrestled it from the yak…laughing.

The ceremony took place on the front step of her fathers house. It was short and sweet with a reading from The Velveteen Rabbit, which was a first!

After the ceremony we went on a boat ride around the lake and then headed to the reception to start their first evening as husband and wife! Their reception was relaxed, full of friends and family and had the perfect weather! I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed creating it! Thank you Jeff and Ariane for hiring Sawyer Creek Photography to capture your big day!
