Andrew & Jenna planned a gorgeous destination wedding up in Egg Harbor, WI. In the time they have spent with each other they grew closer on camping trips and outings in the forest. This is one of the prettiest days I have had so far this year and I am so glad the weather cooperated for them. I love traveling and I absolutely love being a local and destination wedding photographer. It definitely keeps life interesting!
We started the day off capturing everyone getting ready for the big day. The ladies were in a room overlooking the huge forest between the lodge and the lake. It was a gorgeous view!

Then we headed outside for their ceremony. It took place under a sweet, wooden arbor with roses, ribbon & glass beads adorning it. I just loved it. Katie joined me for this wedding and I was her light tester for the walking down the aisle shots. I have to do something kind of silly as the light tester…..I can’t just stand there 😉

After the ceremony we did some family and formal shots. Andrews little boy was quite the model for these shots!

Then the couple, Katie, their chauffeur for the night and I headed for the beach and bluffs for some romantic shots. We had so much fun in our 45 minute window to do romantic shots. Sorry for the enormous amount of images that are about to follow!

Then we headed back for dinner……….I am not going to post dinner shots because this post is already WAY too long but they are adorable 😀 I am however going to post a few from the FISH BOIL that we did which is a Door County tradition. It was so much fun! Then we took a little walk at sunset to end the day.

Sometimes when I’m walking with a couple something will just catch my eye. This was one of those moments. I saw the light streaming through the trees and asked them to please run down the hill a little. I wanted it moody not soft and romantic like most wedding shots. I love it!
