Nathan & Jenna were married at the gorgeous Waubee Lake Lodge in Lakewood, WI. I absolutely LOVE traveling and I LOVE my destination weddings. It is so much fun and such a challenge to go to a location where you have never shot before and capture the day as its happening. There may be a little extra stress and work involved in destination weddings but the rewards far outweigh the extra work!
They were married outside by the lake with birds flying overhead, pontoon boats floating on the lake behind them and the sun shining down. They incorporated Nathan’s two gorgeous little girls into their sand ceremony and I’m not sure there was a dry eye there.
The reception was a blast and as usual I got caught up in the dancing WHILE photographing it 🙂 That is definitely something I should put out as a disclaimer………its basically impossible for me to sit at a reception and take pictures. You will find me out there dancing with Uncle Ron, shaking it with Grandma Dolly and getting pulled into The Choo Choo Train with the groomsmen. I find it creates even better reception shots to get involved because people stop looking at my camera and just have fun and dance THEN I catch them when they are unaware.
